Marla was a Best Puppy in Breed winner at her very first show in the USA at the Connecticut River Working Group Association. She gained her KC Studbook Number and qualified for Crufts for life by winning Limit Bitch at Manchester in January 2016 and we were delighted that Suzanne was able to be at Crufts in 2016 to see her win the Limit Bitch class there too.

Both the girls have their own pages in the UK Bitches section of the website.

We are very excited to have these two girls, and we are enjoying showing them.

I was priviliged to be a member of the judging panel at the 2015 Newfoundland Club of America's National Specialty, hosted by The Newfoundland Club of New England. I judged a wonderful entry of Bitch and Veteran Bitch sweepstakes classes, and to top it all I was one of the judges chosen to judge the Top 20.
I would just like to say what a privilige and an honor it was for me to be associated with a National Specialty in a judging capacity.
For me the National has always been the Bench Mark for the breed. As with the eyes of the world looking on, Breed type, Structure, Trimming and many other aspects of the breed can be influenced with the dogs that are entered at a National.
I must Congratulate the breeders of the dogs that I saw both in and out of the ring are a credit to the breed.
